Leitfaden
Do guests need an app or an account to book?
No. Guests book from your link in their normal browser. There is no app to download and no account or password to create.
What the guest does
- Opens your booking link or scans your QR code.
- Picks how many people, the day and a time.
- Types their name, email and phone number. Online booking needs a UK phone number.
- Adds a request or allergy note, if you have switched those questions on.
- Ticks the box to agree to your booking terms and presses the button.
What they get afterwards
A confirmation email with a booking reference and buttons to add it to Apple, Google or Outlook calendars. The email has a link to look at the booking or cancel it, and a reminder follows the day before. If you have texts on, they can get those too.
Other things guests can do
The page comes in 14 languages and guests can switch language themselves. If you run a mailing list, there are optional tick boxes, and nothing is ticked for them. They only see whether a day has room and which times fit. They never see how many tables you have.
