How to turn on ordering and print your table QR codes

The tick box for ordering stays locked until Order and Pay is switched on for your venue. On the Pro plan, open Order and Pay (left hand menu, under Booking page). You will see "Try Order and Pay free for 14 days". Press Start my free trial. It is one click and no card is needed.

You get an email to confirm, and the box then shows how many days are left. If you do nothing at the end, it switches itself off and you are not charged. Not on Pro? The same box offers Pro plus Order and Pay at £10 a month, or the Ordering only plan at £19.99 a month, both with 14 days free. Each subscription is for one venue.

Switch it on

1. Press Order and Pay in the left hand menu, under Booking page.
2. Tick Switch ordering on. If your menu is empty or nothing is connected for payment, the page tells you what is missing.
3. Under "How people order", tick Eat in, Collection, Delivery, or any mix. Collection and delivery have their own guide.
4. "One per table" tells you which table ordered. "One for the whole venue" asks the customer for their table number.
5. "Ready in (minutes)" is what collection and delivery customers are told to expect.
6. Choose a menu colour, show calories or weights, ask if they would like to add a tip, text collection and delivery customers when their order is ready, and show a "get our app" card.
7. Press Save. The page then shows the link customers order at.
8. Press Orders in the left hand menu, then QR codes, then Print sheet. Cut them out and put one on each table.

The sheet has one code for the whole venue, plus one per table. Tables come from your floor plan, so add them under Edit floor plan if you only see the venue code. Each code also has a PNG link if you want to put it on your own poster or menu.

The text when an order is ready uses your text messages, so it counts towards your text allowance. It is never sent for eat in orders.
