How to read the calendar month view

The Calendar shows a whole month on one screen, so you can see which days are heaving and which are dead before you plan staff or a promotion.

Quick answer. Click Calendar in the left menu. Each day shows its bookings and covers, with a colour for how full it is. Click any day to open the full list for it.

What you see

At the top: the number of bookings and covers for the month, and the busiest day. Each day box shows the number of bookings, the covers, a percentage full and a small bar. Closed days say closed. Any event on a day shows its name. A small number in the corner means requests are waiting for a reply.

What the colours mean

  • Quiet
  • Filling up
  • Nearly full
  • Event

The colour compares bookings with your total seats multiplied by the number of service periods, or with your covers cap if you set one in your booking rules.

  5. Check the small number in a corner of a day: those are requests still waiting for you.
