Handle Large Groups and Parties
Set a party limit, join tables and ask for deposits so big bookings run smoothly.

A table of twelve is good money, and a good way to ruin a Friday if it goes wrong. A few simple settings keep big groups under control. Go to Tables and fill in Largest party online. The usual is eight. Bigger groups are asked to ring you, so you can talk about the menu and the time. Tick Allow combining two tables for large parties, and save. Then open Turn times, and set the last row to what a big group really takes. In Booking page look, add a line to the Welcome text, like, parties over eight, please ring us. Put your group rules in Booking terms. On Pro, open Deposits and fill in Only for parties of, to take a deposit from big groups only.
