Why it is priced like this
Fair means fair for everyone
Some systems charge a fee for every diner they send you. A full Saturday can cost more than the software itself. Nabsie is a flat price. Your busiest night costs exactly the same as your quietest.
Delivery marketplaces take a cut of every order. Order and Pay is a flat monthly price with unlimited orders. The only per order cost is your card provider's usual fee, and that goes to them, not us.
Pay monthly and cancel any time from your dashboard, or pay for the year and save. Free has no term at all. Your bookings stay yours and you can export them whenever you like.
The limits are there so the price can stay low for everyone. A venue doing 400 bookings a month uses more email, more push and more support than one doing 40. Charging the busy venue a bit more is fairer than putting everyone's price up.
Text messages cost us money per message, so they run on credits you top up when you need them. *AI phone answering is coming soon. It will not be included in the plan price: it will cost extra, on credits you buy. Emails are always free and unlimited.
At the limit
What happens when you reach your monthly limit
Nothing dramatic, and you are never cut off by one busy month. Going over once or twice does nothing: every booking still goes through, and we email you so you know. If you are over the limit for a third month in a row, new online bookings pause at the limit and your page tells guests online booking is full for the month but you may still have tables, and asks them to ring you. Your diary, your staff logins and every booking you already have carry on, and bookings your team types in are never blocked (on the Free plan they count towards the limit, on Standard and Pro they do not). Upgrade and it opens up straight away; the count resets on the first of the month.
If it happens more than once, that is usually a sign you have outgrown the plan. Upgrade from your dashboard and the page opens up straight away. The count resets on the first of every month.
What counts as a booking: On the Free plan every booking counts, online, phone, walk-in and floor plan, except cancelled ones. On Standard and Pro only bookings that come in through your booking page count, and bookings your team types in themselves (phone, walk-in, floor plan) are free. Declined online requests still count because your team spent time on them. Party size does not matter.
Which plan do I need?
- Free
Up to 60 a month. A cafe with a few tables, a pub that takes bookings for Sunday lunch, or anyone trying it out. - Standard, £14.99 a month or £149 a year
Up to 1000 a month. Most independent restaurants and pubs. The floor plan and push alerts to staff phones are the reasons most venues upgrade. - Pro, £29.99 a month or £299 a year
Up to 5000 a month. Busy town centre restaurants, bars with a big weekend trade, anyone taking deposits or running events. - Order and Pay, +£10 a month on Pro, 14 days free
Pubs and restaurants that want customers ordering and paying from the table, or ahead for collection and delivery. - Ordering only, £19.99 a month, 14 days free
Takeaways, cafes and food vans with no tables to book. Unlimited orders, no commission. - Groups
More than 5000 a month or more than one venue. Talk to us.

What a 40 cover venue pays elsewhere
A rough comparison for one venue with 40 covers doing a typical independent restaurant's trade. Prices change, check their sites.

Figures for other systems are indicative starting points published on their own sites at the time of writing and will change. Per diner fees depend on where the booking came from. FAQ
Questions about pricing
Is the free plan a trial?
No. It is free for as long as you want it. There is no card to enter and nothing expires. The differences from Standard are the monthly booking limit, email alerts rather than push, one staff login, and the extras like the floor plan, guest profiles and texts.
What counts as a booking?
On the Free plan every booking counts, online, phone, walk-in and floor plan, except cancelled ones. On Standard and Pro only bookings that come in through your booking page count, and bookings your team types in themselves (phone, walk-in, floor plan) are free. Declined online requests still count because your team spent time on them. Party size does not matter.
What happens when I hit the limit?
Going over once or twice does nothing: every booking still goes through, and we email you so you know. If you are over the limit for a third month in a row, new online bookings pause at the limit and your page tells guests online booking is full for the month but you may still have tables, and asks them to ring you. Your diary, your staff logins and every booking you already have carry on, and bookings your team types in are never blocked (on the Free plan they count towards the limit, on Standard and Pro they do not). Upgrade and it opens up straight away; the count resets on the first of the month.
Can I pay from outside the UK?
Yes. Prices are in pounds sterling and PayPal or cards from any country are fine. Your bank will convert at its usual rate. Nabsie itself works anywhere: set your time zone and everything shows local times.
Is there a contract? Can I cancel?
Free has no term at all; use it for as long as you like. Monthly plans can be cancelled any time and stop at the end of the month you have paid for. Yearly plans run for the 12 months you have paid for and renew unless you cancel the renewal first. Either way you drop back to Free and keep everything. We do not refund part terms unless the law requires it.
Monthly or yearly, which should I pick?
Monthly if you want to try it with no commitment. Yearly if you know you will keep it: it works out cheaper and there is one payment a year instead of twelve. You can switch at your next renewal.
How do I upgrade or move between paid plans?
From the Plan page in your dashboard. Upgrading switches the new features on straight away. Moving from Standard to Pro starts a new Pro subscription and the old one is stopped; moving down applies at your next renewal.
Do you charge set up fees or per venue fees?
No set up fees. Each plan covers one venue. If you run more than one, the same login can switch between venues on Standard and above, and groups can talk to us about one invoice for all of them.
What do texts and phone answering cost?
They run on credits you buy in the app, so you only pay for what you use. Bundle prices are shown on the Texts page in your dashboard. Emails are always free.
Is there a fee per order on Order and Pay?
No. Order and Pay is a flat monthly price with unlimited orders, for one venue per subscription. Your card provider (Stripe, PayPal, SumUp or Square) charges its usual card fee on each payment and the money goes straight to you. Nabsie never takes a cut.
I only do takeaway. Do I need a bookings plan?
No. Ordering only is a plan on its own for takeaways, cafes, food vans and kiosks. You get the ordering page, your own customer app, the kitchen screen and the end of day report, with bookings switched off.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, 14 days free for Order and Pay, on Pro or on the Ordering only plan. You start it yourself in your dashboard, nothing is switched on or off by hand, and if you do not keep it, it simply switches itself off and you are not charged. Menus and settings are kept.
I already use Nabsie. Will ordering change anything for me?
Not unless you switch it on. Ordering is a separate add-on. Your booking page, floor plan, staff app and settings carry on exactly as they are.
I host with Kalchevo. Do I pay?
Kalchevo hosting customers get the Standard plan included. Send us a message and we will switch it on.
